400,000 thank yous!
Stacks of thanks to all the shoppers, volunteers and staff who all played their part in May and helped our shops collect a whopping 417,300 extra books – smashing our 330,000 target! So there are now stacks of books to fill our shop shelves during Oxfam Bookfest 2011.

If you’ve finished the latest bestseller or got boxes of paperbacks you’ll never read again, you can donate books directly to our shops during opening hours, or pop them into one of our donation banks at any time. It doesn’t have to be a brand new hardback, you love all kinds of books, new and old, so bring us what you’ve got and we’ll turn them into poverty-busting cash.
If you love reading, during July, we will be celebrating Oxfam having brilliant books for everyone! During our donation drive, you helped us stock our shelves to the brim.
