STILL on the trail of reinvention, Oxfam is re-launching its Camden store - with the help of expert salvage stylist Mrs Jones - unveiling it as the ultimate fashion resource for the notoriously avant-garde locals; Oxfam D.I.Y.

Mrs Jones, a celebrity stylist, is taking Oxfam clothes and turning them into design statements.
Mrs Jones is a designer-cum-stylist. Her tastes are more towards the pop end of the aesthetic spectrum but she’s certainly inventive, and now she’s bringing her talents to the Oxfam branch at 89 Camden High Street, North London.
If the words OXFAM makes you think of musty old shops run by musty old ladies, then think again. Oxfam has had a rehaul and their new Camden shop, opening for trade this Saturday 6th June, is the white, bright light of the future.
Mrs Jones, who has worked with stars including Kylie, Goldfrapp and The Killers will be hosting workshops, including one showing customers how to reinvent past fashion items to create a unique personal style.

With some simply stunning designs by Mrs Jones (sourced from unwanted donations, of course – though you'd never guess it), the christening of the newly relaunched Oxfam DIY in Camden on Wednesday night was a joy and testament
to the charity's strength and style.
