When I went to purchase the Second-hand item, it said it had already been sold, why did this happen?

As these items are donated to our Oxfam shops, they are unique and we only have one of them. Until you go to the checkout stage with your donated item, they are not ‘reserved’ for you, so if you want anything from our range of Second-hand goods you shouldn’t hang around!

If someone else has checked out with a Second-hand item you were interested in, we will let you know when you go to check out. However, we have a wide range of fantastic finds in our Second-hand Store, so don‘t be disappointed - take another look and see if you can get your hands on something else equally great!
