In the unlikely event that you do want to return your goods, for all goods except Oxfam Unwrapped gifts we do offer a 21-day no quibble returns policy, so you can buy safe in the knowledge that you can return your goods if you choose to do so.

Issues with Oxfam’s Online Shop orders are a very rare occurrence.  But just in case one occurs, this help page should give you information on what you will need to do.

Oxfam Unwrapped and Ethical Collection items

Oxfam Unwrapped items should be despatched by 1st class post, Ethical Collection items should be despatched by 2nd class post (or sometimes by courier) within 3 working days of receipt of the order.  Working days are Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays).  If you have not received your order and it is after the expected date of arrival (by a couple of days to allow for postal delays), then please contact us so that we can look into this for you and if appropriate send a replacement.  We can change the delivery address of any replacements if this would suit.


Second-hand Store goods

Second-hand Store goods should be despatched by 2nd class post or sometimes by courier within 3 working days of receipt of the order.  Working days are Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays).  If you have not received your order and it is after the expected date of arrival (by a couple of days to allow for postal delays), then please contact us so that we can look into this for you.

Oxfam Unwrapped Orders should have been despatched by 1st class post, Second-hand Store goods and Ethical Collection items should have been despatched by 2nd class post (or sometimes by courier) within 3 working days of receipt of the order.  Working days are Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays).  This is stated in the delivery information, and on the order confirmation page.  If you ordered in enough time, but your order did not arrive on time, please accept our apologies.  If this item was a gift for a friend or family member, then please pass on our sincere apologies to them on our behalf.  If you would like to discuss this further please contact us.

Oxfam Unwrapped gifts

I’m sorry to inform you that because an Oxfam Unwrapped gift counts as a donation, our 21 day no quibble returns policy does not apply, and under Charity Commission rules, we are unable to give you a refund.  We can however offer you with a replacement Oxfam Unwrapped gift of the same or very similar value.  Please contact us if you want to do this.


Ethical Collection items

We offer a 21 day no quibble returns period, so that you can get a refund or, if you prefer, request an alternative gift.  This starts from the date you received the goods. If returned orders are received outside of the 21 day period and you have not contacted Oxfam beforehand, a refund will not be granted. All goods should be returned in a resalable condition.  Refunds will be processed within 30 days.


To return your Ethical Collection item, please:

  1. package up the goods securely so they don’t get damaged in transit
  2. complete your returns slip with your reason for return and indicate whether you would like a refund or an alternative gift
  3. obtain a free proof of postage certificate from the Post Office
  4. send to our returns address: Oxfam the Fair Trade Specialist, PO Box 5050, Freepost – MID23348, Annesley, Nottinghamshire, NG15 0DJ.

Second-hand Store goods

We offer a 21 day no quibble returns period, so that you can get a refund for your gift.  This starts from the date you received the goods. If returned orders are received outside of the 21 day period and you have not contacted Oxfam beforehand, a refund will not be granted. Second-hand Store items returned to Oxfam will not be sent back to the customer. All goods should be returned in a resalable condition.  Refunds will be processed within 30 days.


To return your Second-hand Store item, please:

  1. package up the goods securely
  2. complete your returns slip with your reason for return and indicate that you would like a refund
  3. if your item was sent to you by post, please obtain a free proof of postage from the Post Office and send to our returns address: Oxfam Donated, PO Box 5050, Freepost – MID23348, Annesley, Nottinghamshire, NG15 0DJ.
  4. if your item was sent by courier, please call our team on 0300 200 1252 to arrange a pick up.  This will need to be arranged so that the item can be signed for by you, or someone else.  The return address, which should be visible on your parcel, will be: Oxfam Donated, Caverwall House, Sherwood Business Park, Annesley, Nottinghamshire, NG15 0DJ.  In line with our Terms and Conditions, we will only refund the cost of the item, not the outgoing courier charge.  The cost of returning the item will be covered by us.

If your Ethical Collection item is damaged or defective, please return this to us as soon as possible, so that we can resolve this for you. Refunds will be processed within 30 days.


To return the Ethical Collection item, please:
