When John Kelly, of events servicing company Zibrant, was brought an Oxfam Unwrapped gift he wanted to know more. How had the goat helped and where it had gone? So he got in touch with us.
We sent him wonderful stories from people all over the worked who have received goats and other gifts from Oxfam Unwrapped. John shared this information with his colleagues who, he said, were all amazed at the difference the gifts were making to so many people’s lives.
No kidding?
John and his colleagues decided for every ‘pitch’ they secured with a client, they, too, would buy a goat from Oxfam Unwrapped. To promote the idea, they mailed all of their clients, but the best bit was when they went to a conference and had someone dressed up as a goat, directing people to the Zibrant stand!
To get all the staff involved, each of them was given a small toy goat, and now they run a monthly competition for the best picture of a goat ‘on its travels’. Each month’s winner gets their own Oxfam Unwrapped goat.
Zibrant has given out 20 goats through Oxfam Unwrapped and the campaign recently won one of ‘Meetings & Incentives’ magazine’s Best Integrated Marketing Campaign awards.
