All profit from your Ethical Collection purchases goes towards funding Oxfam's work fighting poverty and suffering around the world. The Ikindemi is a group that represents the women of Malambo, Tanzania. The women carry out a range of trade activities, including buying and selling livestock, clothing, leatherwork and of course bead jewellery.
Loans granted by Oxfam, as part of the LIFE project, encourage small businesses to thrive and enable groups like this to have more influence in the community. Their success leads to greater respect and authority in both social and political matters. All funds raised from the Ethical Collection are spent where they are needed most.
