Each chocolate in this box of 8 tempting English truffles has been hand crafted by artisans in the UK using traditional techniques and made using Fairtrade cocoa beans from Dominican Republic, Peru and Ghana, and Fairtrade sugar from Paraguay.
Really good chocolate melts just below body temperature and these richly satisfying truffles will literally melt in the mouth. Choose from a varied selection including vanilla, lychee liqueur, Champagne and Amaretto.
The chocolates are beautifully presented in a long handmade keepsake box that has been handcrafted by skilled artisans in Kashmir. This handmade, eco-friendly material is made in the rural outskirts of Delhi, producing much needed employment opportunities.
Each lacuered box has a bold gold design handpainted across the sleek midnight black surface. A beautifully crafted box to keep and fill with goodies for years to come; we're going to try stashing homemade truffles, Fairtrade jewellery, photographs, posh pens and notebooks in it's smooth black interior (probably not all at the same time).

The tray inside is made from Plantic®, a bioplastic made from non-GM corn starch. Not only is it compostable to European (EN 13432) and American (ASTM 6400) standards, it is also water dispersible and completely biodegradable. Additionally, Plantic® products have a renewable bio-content of approximately 90% and Plantic’s energy requirement is also very low – approximately half that of petrochemically-derived plastics.
