Bombolulu's disabled workshops employ 160 people from all over Kenya. They are members of the World Fair Trade Organisation and adhere to the principles of Fair Trade, improving the lives of workers in developing countries.
Founded in 1969 as a rehabilitation centre, they were largely supported by the Kenya Association for the Disabled.
Now, they are working towards social and financial independence making beautiful products and earning a decent living from their skills.
