This bold single pendant suspended from a long length deep brown cord with bead fastening was designed especially for Oxfam. A bold fashion statement this necklace was hand made by the Fair Trade Bombalulu group, a beautiful synergy of producer group inspired design and excellent Kenyan craftsmanship. The free-hanging hammered discs are suspended from the rolled silver-plated outer hoop, made from silver-plated copper. Complete the set with the co-ordinating bold circle drop necklace. Dimensions: 5cm x 5cm.

Bombolulu's disabled workshops employ 160 people from all over Kenya. They are members of the World Fair Trade Organisation and adhere to the principles of Fair Trade improving the lives of workers in developing countries. Founded in 1969 as a rehabilitation centre, they were largely supported by the Kenya Association for the Disabled.

Now, they are working towards social and financial independence making beautiful products and earning a decent living from their skills.
