Oxfam Curiosity Shop

The Oxfam Curiosity Shop at Selfridges launched in 2010 and is created and stocked by a team of high profile personalities led by Annie lennox and Whistles CEO Jane Shepherdson.

Open for ten days only in 2010 and 2011, the Oxfam Curiosity Shop sold celebrity fashion donations, sought after samples abd vintage clothing hand-picked form our 700 shops.

How much did it raise?

Along with On-line Auction at Selfridges.com and the Celebrity auction, the Oxfam Curiosity Shop raised an incredible £280,000 in 2011 - nearly 30% more than the previous year!

100% of the money raised goes directly to Oxfam Circle projects; helping to provide essential healthcare, schooling and much more, to women living in poverty.

Oxfam Style Sessions

Some of the Fashion world's top stylists, journalists and bloggers popped down to the Oxfam Curiosity Shop in 2011 to take part in the Oxfam Style Sessions Chellenge! 

Brix Smith Start (Channel 4's Gok's Fashion Fix), the Guardian Fashion team, Libirty London Girls and many more re-created some of the season's key looks and trends all from items that were being sold at Oxfam Curiosity Shop. Liberty London Girl won the challenge, creating a fabulous 1970s look with a long sleeved floral vintage dress.
