A vintage Staffordshire Spaniel china dog with collar and chain.
This unusual example's left front leg is separate from the body.
Glazed cream body with metallic bronze and matt green detailing and exquiste brush work on the face.
Excellent ornament for the mantelpiece or sideboard.
Note the manufacturer's mark on the base shown in the photograph.
It is approximately 10" tall and 8" at its widest point.
This piece is vintage and so the glaze has crackled. There are also 2 chips, one between the front 2 legs and one on the right leg at the back (can be seen in photograph)
There is a small chip to the mouth. It could be restored or kept to preserve the character.
