Made by Glasgow silversmith James Weir Ltd, 64-66 Buchanan Street, Glasgow. Hallmarked with the Glasgow Tree, Fish and Bell, Lion Rampart and Thistle, date letter y for 1921-1922.
All pieces are hallmarked. They are all in immaculate condition and come in their original plush, lined fitted case. The case is marked with the James Weir label. The exterior of the case is leather a gold coloured small line border but does show it's vintage age.
The teaspoons and the nips have a stylised H on their handles. These teaspoons are a superb example of rare Scottish provincial silver.
