Oxfam has been trading in Bridgend, a market town in South Wales, for over 13 years. We have built up a wide network of generous donors and we get exceptional donations. We have a great selection of good quality clothing and interesting, second hand goods from fine jewellery to wellington boots and vintage vinyl. Various collectable items have been sold, from Dr Who books to Wedgwood tea sets and there is something new in the shop every day. Our shop is only 5 minutes from exit 34 on the M4 and is well served by the railway and bus station which are minutes from us at 21 Wyndham Street. Come to Bridgend and pay us a visit and meet our friendly and helpful volunteers many of whom are young and able to put in the shop items that reflect the latest trends. Bridgend borough has some great places to visit, from cliffs and riverside walks to castles, sandy beaches and restaurants.
Oxfam shops are always delighted to accept donations of quality undamaged items that you no longer want. Our shop teams are trained to make as much money as possible from your generosity to fund Oxfam's poverty busting work around the world. Items that sell particularly well are current fashion trends, quality paperback fiction and all accessories. And Oxfam is unique in that any textiles that are not sold via our shops are sent to our Wastesaver recycling plant to ensure we make as much money as possible from your generosity.
Volunteering with us is a challenging and rewarding experience. We have lots of opportunities and are always on the look out for passionate people to lend a hand.
