Oxfam shops are always delighted to accept donations of quality undamaged items that you no longer want. Our shop teams are trained to make as much money as possible from your generosity to fund Oxfam's poverty busting work around the world. Items that sell particularly well are current fashion trends, quality paperback fiction and all accessories. And Oxfam is unique in that any textiles that are not sold via our shops are sent to our Wastesaver recycling plant to ensure we make as much money as possible from your generosity.
We rely on the generosity of people like yourself to keep our shops brimming with quality items. If you have a large donation of heavy goods for our shop, such as records or books we might be able to arrange a collection so please feel free to call us.
There are some items that we cannot sell:
- Electrical goods
- Damaged or broken items
- Safety items like crash helmets and children's car seats
- Soft furnishings without the correct fire safety labels.
In fact it costs Oxfam money to dispose of these items.
