Alan, shop manager of the Heswall Bridal Shop opened the Bridal Room five years ago when he took early retirement. Since then the shop has gained an exceptional reputation, with customers coming from all over Merseyside, Lancashire, Wales, Ireland and even London. It's known among its clients as 'The hidden gem of Heswall'. Heswall Bridal Shop only stocks new wedding gowns, many of which carry famous labels. The shop stocks around two hundred dresses at any one time, ranging in size from 8 to 30. The average price gown is £169.99.The staff and volunteers at Heswall pride themselves on friendly honest advice and, with their keen eye for style and shape, you can be sure that the gown you select will be perfect. Alan's ethos for the store reinforces his passion: "I want people to say 'the bride looks fabulous in that gown, not 'what a fabulous dress that bride has got on.'" We have been put in the privileged position of fitting both the wedding gowns for the TV soap 'Hollyoaks', and featured on T.V. Last year Alan was able to select out a fabulous 'Neil Cunningham' gown for the international opera star 'Frances Bourne' for her wedding at Canterbury Cathedral. Heswall are open from 9am till 4.45pm, and appointments can be made for a Saturday morning. An average fitting takes about an hour. We are located opposite Tesco.
