The 1990 programme is in good condition, with some wear and rubbing on both the front and back covers and along the spine. The edges of the cover are slightly worn and the lower right corner of the front cover is bent. There are some smudged markings on the front cover, but all inside pages are clean and unmarked with only some slight discolouration of white pages. The condition of the 1993 and 2008 programmes is very good, with only minor wear around the edges and spines. All pages inside are clean and as well as a variety of advertisements the programmes include biographies of the cast, short essays on the plays, and black & white rehearsal photographs. The 'Twelfth Night' programme includes a short interview with Derek Jacobi.

We have unusually large sections in science fiction and fantasy, literature, history, travel, children's, business and the sciences. There is plenty of space for browsing and a couple of chairs for customers who wish to inspect books more closely. We also have a catalogue of about 1000 collectable books that are kept in the backroom, and these can be brought out for customers to view on request.
