Eddie Izzard 6 DVD box set 15

£19.99

Product description

A collection of stand-up routines by cross-dressing stand-up comic Eddie Izzard. Hairnets, dog food, Einstein, Pavlov, Mother Nature, dexterous cats, jam, squirrel, supermarket queues and people called Jeff - nothing is safe from the surreal and sharp-tongued wit of the high-heeled glamour puss.
'Unrepeatable' was recorded at the Albery Theatre in March 1994, during a limited seven-week sold-out run of Izzard's celebrated show.
'Definite Article' was recorded during his sell-out epic run at the Shaftesbury Theatre in London's West End. His stream of consciousness style of monologue takes in the world of fresh food shopping, Hannibal and his elephants, Pavlov's Cat, St Paul and the Corinthians and Azerbaijan.
'Glorious' features a live show at the Hammersmith Apollo taken from his sell-out 1997 tour, and delves deeper into the wibbly-wobbly little world of Eddie.

These three DVDs have bleeped audio tracks in the extras.

In 'Dress To Kill', Izzard takes his unique brand of absurdist, semi-improvised humour to San Francisco, as part of a sell-out US tour. The film features material not seen in the UK.
'Circle' sees the comedian captured in live performance in New York on 26 June 2000, while 'Sexie' is a live performance of his 2003 world tour, performed in front of an enthusiastic Eastbourne audience at the Congress Theatre.

Unrepeatable, Definite Article and Glorious are all regions 2-5
Dress to Kill and Circle are both regions 1-6
Sexie is regions 2-6, and is the only one in 1.85:1 widescreen

Oxfam Shop Ulverston

Ulverston is a traditional market town that attempts to retain a sense of the Dickensian times as typified by the festival run in November. We are a conventional Oxfam shop and sell anything and everything that will be of interest to someone. We have a good reputation as a second hand bookseller and are developing a reputable clothing offer. Our friendly staff are always ready and willing to assist and we are continually on the lookout for more potential recruits. We have a strong focus on Fair Trade and like to run events to spread Oxfam's message and raise extra funds.
