Metallica - Some Kind Of Monster

£5.99

Product description

This is a fascinating insight into one of the biggest bands on the face of the earth! You don't have to be a fan of the band to appreciate this film, and some have even said it to be the 'real life Spinal Tap', although this may be true to a certain degree this film will leave you with a greater understanding of not only the personalities within the band but also the workings of recording, writing, rehearsing an album and going on tour. The film is quite long and may leave you asking after the first 2 hours, 'when is this going to end?' but for me the mystery that surrounds Metallica made me stick with it. You are however left with a few questions after the film is over. These were quickly covered with the features on the second disc which as well as providing a few deleted scenes also covered some of the major screenings and premiers across America where press and fans alike were able to directly question the band members and film makers. Although a question mark may still hover over the future of Metallica, the intenseness, and emotion that went into the recent album and the relationships between band members may make it seem futile and even pointless to leave behind all the hard work that all have put in. Get this film. Fan or not, and witness Metallica at the most crucial time in their entire history!
Includes a pack of film stills with this two disc set.
