Poldark Series 2 (original BBC TV series) PG

£39.99

Product description

Original BBC TV series starring Robin Ellis and Angharad Rees, this set produced for the Dutch market.
It is the usual English version but has Dutch subtitles available.
Brand new and sealed.
Season 2 has 13 episodes, which see more emphasis on the growing Geoffrey Charles Poldark, the son of Elizabeth and Francis Poldark; major changes to Elizabeth’s life; Demelza's brother Drake Carne, who falls in love with Elizabeth's cousin Morwenna, but she is married off to Reverend Osborne Whitworth, whom she despises. Drake builds his blacksmith business and spends time with his brother Sam, a devout Methodist.
Morwenna's younger sister Rowella, and her husband Arthur Solway also play a major part in the story, as do Sam Carne and Emma Tregirls; however, the emphasis remains with Ross and Demelza and their family.
Fondly remembered, this set would make a delightful gift.
