Simply red stay live at the royal albert hall Non-classified

£30.00

Product description

filmed on location at London's Royal Albert Hall during a sold-out 6-night residency, it follows the smash-hit Top 5 LP `Stay', which debuted at Number 2 in the pan-European charts and was hailed by the Independent on Sunday as "Every bit as good as 1992's multi-million-selling Stars".

The featured show boasts many of their biggest hits (`Fairground,' `Money's Too Tight To Mention' and `Stars'), plus highlights from `Stay' (`So Not Over You', `The World And You Tonight' & `Stay').

Directed by David Mallet, whose previous credits include AC/DC, Elton John, Bowie, Madonna, Rolling Stones and U2, it deftly encapsulates the band's energy, which wowed audiences earlier this year. Featuring the acclaimed show in its entirety, the DVD also contains an exclusive interview with Mick Hucknall, behind-the-scenes footage and a photo gallery.
The third LP released by their label simplyred.com, `Stay' is a smooth, passionate collection of soulful tunes and vibrant lyrics, all driven with Mick's inimitable vocals. Written and produced by Mick Hucknall, with contributions from Andy Wright - whose previous credits include Natalie Imbruglia and Annie Lennox - it was recorded between Mick's personal home-studio & London's Metropolis, late 2006.

Highlights include: the electric glow of Ronnie Lane's classic `Debris'; the sparkling title track `Stay' and the (almost) autobiographical song `Good Times Have Done Me Wrong'.

Oxfam Shop Ulverston

Ulverston is a traditional market town that attempts to retain a sense of the Dickensian times as typified by the festival run in November. We are a conventional Oxfam shop and sell anything and everything that will be of interest to someone. We have a good reputation as a second hand bookseller and are developing a reputable clothing offer. Our friendly staff are always ready and willing to assist and we are continually on the lookout for more potential recruits. We have a strong focus on Fair Trade and like to run events to spread Oxfam's message and raise extra funds.
