Product description

From the description on the back of the DVD case:
"SPITFIRE AND THE BATTLE OF BRITAIN - DVD
Using unseen footage from the classic 1968 British feature film The Battle of Britain, this series tell the incredible true story of human endeavour and the contest between the British and German forces as they fought for air superiority over England during the summer of 1940. This gripping DVD takes the viewer back to that terrifying time, to experience all of the decisive moments of the fighting as the valiant pilots from the Battle of Britain deliver first-hand accounts of their brave exploits. Using enlightening interviews with surviving RAF and Luftwaffe pilots and illustrated by dramatic colour film footage of aerial combat, this series offers an unbiased and objective account of what has become a defining moment in history. It provides the viewer with an insight into the fighting as the flyboys who protected our shores from Nazi invasion recall the mightiest aerial battle in history which will resonate with new generations for years to come.

BATTLE OF BRITAIN MEMORABILIA COLLECTION
Accompanying the DVD is a selection of fascinating memorabilia which provides the viewer with a unique insight into the Battle of Britain and what it must have been like for the British people during this time. Researched, collated and recreated from original materials at The National Archives in London, this collection includes many rare artefacts and reproductions, including a page from the Royal Air Force 222 Squadron's Operations Record Book from 1 June 1940, a map from 1940 which details the locations of Britain's fighter defences, a wartime poster which was aimed at educating the British public into knowing the differences between allied and enemy aircraft, a booklet which helped Britons to identify any German paratroopers who had made it onto British soil and two collector's edition Battle of Britain postcards."

This pack contains all the aforementioned memorabilia and the approximately 141 minute long series on the DVD. The disc in question is very slightly worn but for the most part in very good condition.
