The Great War is a 26 episode documentary series from 1964 on the First World War. The documentary was a co-production of the Imperial War Museum, the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and the Australian Broadcasting Commission. It is narrated by Michael Redgrave, with readings by Marius Goring, Ralph Richardson, Cyril Luckham, Sebastian Shaw and Emlyn Williams. Each episode is around 40 minutes long and were written by John Terraine, Corelli Barnett, Barrie Pitt, Antony Jay, Ed Rollins, Alistair Horne, Gordon Watkins, Robert Kee, Harold Shukman and John Williams.
There are seven compact discs, including a bonus disc of material from the Imperial War Museum, in DVD cases contained within a two-part box. The CDs and cases are in very good condition, while the box is in the same condition with only minor shelf wear. The booklet provides details on each episode as well as credits for the series, and this copy is undamaged.
