An Original Master Recording edition of this famous Beatles album. A limited edition created with Half-speed Mastering by Stan Ricker, JVC. Pressed in Japan on Super High Definition Vinyl (with Extended Life). Source: The Original Stereo Master Tape. The record is clean and bright with only small handling marks. The matrix numbers in the run-out areas are:- Side 1: "MFSL 1-023 - A3 (etched SR/2); Side 2: MFSL 1-023 - B (etched 12 SR/2). Held in a white static-free Inner-sleeve. The record labels list 17 'songs' including the final short "Her Majesty" which is not listed on the album cover. Included is a four-sided cardboard insert, showing historical figures holding up LPs which are "Limited Editions From the Original Masters", and describing the method of production. The sleeve has a few very light general marks surface marks; edges have some bumping and surface wear with small chips along the top; the top right corner is split approx. 3.2 cm ; corners are rubbed and the spine has several chips including a worn chip on the catalogue number resulting in part of it being missing. An interesting feature of the record is that it is translucent and bright light can be seen through it.
