Bluegrass has many roots, a sub-genre of American Country music, it seems to have mainly originated in the Appalachia region, which is a land-locked area of the mid-Eastern US, whose vertical borders - both Eastern and Western - run more-or-less, parallel with the East Coast. This multi-State region, running from the Federal North, to the formerly-Confederate South, was first home, to Native Americans, about 16,000 years ago, but was colonised by Europeans in the period between, 200 and 300 years ago.
However, Bluegrass has many more roots, than just Native American ones ... folk-musical traditions, of all four home-nations of the UK, plus Republic of Ireland, can claim to have influenced Bluegrass music, over the course of many decades, as can Afro-American traditions claim, to have influenced Bluegrass.
This "Blazing Bluegrass", four-CD set, contains three compact discs, that are each dedicated to notable individual artists, plus a "Best of the Rest" CD. See Photo Two for the covers of these four compact discs.
