Presence is the seventh studio album by the rock band Led Zeppelin, released by Swan Song Records on 31 March 1976. Although sales were slow, the album was a commercial success, with the Led Zeppelin version of the traditional "Nobody's Fault But Mine" an especially memorable track. The gatefold sleeve is an embossed version, with the band name and album title embossed on the front top right corner, the Swan Song 'Apollo' logo embossed on the rear left bottom corner, and a small Warner Brothers 1970s style logo embossed on the lower right rear corner. The sleeve has slight rubbing wear to edges and corners, light handling indentations and on the glossy surface, and some short creases down the spine edge. The inside of the gatefold, with bright colour photographs of people with the black obelisk -shaped object created by the album designers, is unmarked. The inner card sleeve, showing a photograph of the obelisk, is in fine condition, with a small light brown water-stain on the lower edge of the picture on one side. This sleeve states that the LP was recorded and mixed at Musicland Studios, Munich, West Germany. The pressed matrix numbers are :- Side 1: R/S Alsdorf 59402 A4; Side 2: R/S Alsdorf 59402 (followed by A2 which has been scratched out, then etched B2x D. The run-out areas on both sides are also stamped 'STRAWBERRY (G)', with 'GB' etched on side two. There are some small spot marks on the tracks on both sides of the record but no apparent scratches.
An interesting item for both fans and collectors.
