£10.99

Product description

Mendelssohn: Elijah - Delman, Procter, Maran, Krips, London Philharmonic Orchestra

Decca- 3x 12" mono vinyl in box set with booklet - LXT 5000-2

Elijah, Op. 70
A Part 1
B Part 1 (Cont.)
C Part 1 (Concl.)
D Part 2
E Part 2 (Cont.)
F Part 2 (Concl.)

All three vinyls are in good condition, showing moderate signs of use on each side. There are some minor marks and thin scratches but not thought to detrimentally impact the audio playback. The booklet is complete and unmarked and included. Found inside the box was a complete concert programme leaflet for a performance of Elijah by the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra with Southampton Choral Union Choir on 22/10/1963 (at the Southampton Guildhall 7.15pm). This concert leaflet will be included with the box set. The box is in very good condition with slightly faded colours on the front cover image and minor scuffs around the corners of the box. There is a very small and straight tear on the bottom left corner of the front cover but this does not impact the integrity of the spine.

Records are graded visually to RRPG grades (vinyl/sleeve) G/VG+. We recommend the vinyls are cleaned by a professional in order to maximise the audio quality.

Oxfam Bookshop Lymington

Lymington is on the South coast, bordering on the New Forest National Park which was created as a Royal Forest in 1079 by William the Conqueror, and first recorded as 'Nova Foresta' in the Doomsday Book in 1086. Our Oxfam Shop at 73, The High Street is in a lovely Georgian building, the tallest in Lymington. The elegant Georgian buildings lining the wide main street were built mostly for merchants in the local salt trade. The famous Saturday market brings the town to life with its variety of stalls. The area is renowned for outdoor pursuits, including camping, sailing, windsurfing, and surfing, as well as forest walks and horse riding.
