Product description

This is the soundtrack to the 1963 documentary film "Shakespeare : Soul of an Age", produced by Lou Hazam, directed by Howard Sackler. It was nominated for the award 'Outstanding Achievement in the Field of Documentary Programs', at the time of it's release.

In the film, Sir Ralph Richardson was the narrator, while Sir Michael Redgrave played Macbeth. Amongst others, the film featured actors Walter Hudd, Robert Eddison, and Jack Gwillim.

The album's gatefold contains 6 extra pages (sample, photo five).
