GPS Support. AutoRoute 2005 allows you to find your location while on the road with a GPS device running NMEA 2.0 or later. Simply plug the device into the computer running AutoRoute and see your location.

Route Planner. With Route Planner, you can view, add, delete, and rearrange destinations. Route Planner also lets you set fuel costs, driving speed, preferred roads, and preferred routes (for example, shortest or quickest). If you have multiple destinations, AutoRoute can optimize your route.
Find What's Nearby. Locate points of interest on your route or virtually anywhere on the map. There are over 800,000 points of interest including over 140,000 restaurants, 60,000 hotels, 4,000 golf courses and more.
Maps on the go. You can download maps from our website or export an area from AutoRoute 2005 for use with Microsoft Pocket Streets for your Pocket PC or Windows Mobile Smartphone. Pocket Streets supports GPS and integrates with Pocket Outlook so you can easily map a contact or appointment location.
Microsoft Office integration. Import data from Microsoft Excel or the Outlook messaging and collaboration client directly into AutoRoute.
Drive-time zones. Generate zones from a specific location, indicating points that can be reached by car in an equal amount of time.
Patented Snap Routing technology. Use Snap Routing to drag and drop a route anywhere, changing the route to your preference. Then watch it snap into place while the map and driving directions recalculate automatically even for the most complex journey.
Pushpins. Choose from more than 256 Pushpin symbols to mark particular addresses or places on the map, or import your own.
