Martha is 13. When both her parents passed away, she was left to look after her two younger sisters. Thanks to an Unwrapped gift, Helen – a specially-trained carer – visits the girls three times a week, giving them practical help and advice. So Martha and her sisters aren't alone anymore.
"Helen gives us soap, food, counselling and encouragement. She gives us advice about keeping up our school studies, about life, about HIV/AIDS and many other things."
For Martha, Helen's support has changed everything.
"Before Helen came we were struggling because both our parents are dead and we had no one to help us. But now we have help. Nowadays I'm stronger and can do more in our house…and the advice she gives me really helps."
