About this item

Splash some cash and tap into a share of the positive impact our water tanks have. They can be rushed to disaster sites to provide clean, safe water. Massive versions can be installed in temporary camps to supply hundreds of families. And having a water tank in a village school can really swell classes.

Delivery & returns

All gifts are sent by 1st class post within 3 working days of when you place your order.  An optional delivery contribution of £1.70  per order for deliveries within the UK will be suggested during checkout, to help us cover costs. You can pay the suggested amount, increase or decrease your contribution, or pay nothing at all. You choose.

If you're in a hurry you can also send a gift E-card, at no extra cost, which will be sent as soon as you place your order. 

Please note that Oxfam Unwrapped gifts count as a donation, so our no quibble returns policy does not apply, and under Charity Commission rules, we are unable to give you a refund.

Indonesia is one of the world’s most disaster-hit countries.

As a result of just such an event, Meulaboh in the north-west of the country lost its mains water supply. But thanks to an Oxfam tank, families like Rahmaini and Irmayasari's are able to ensure that they have enough water for their needs. They come daily with their small wheeled cart to ensure that they can transport the maximum amount of water home.

Similarly Oxfam tankers deliver fresh water every day for the community until the mains supply is restored.

One benefit of having a regular captive audience is that the tanks are also the perfect place to display colourful health and hygiene messages to help prevent the spread of diseases like malaria.
