Electricity and Electrical Magic

£29.99

Product description

This is one of a series of little volumes dealing with the lighter and more amusing sides of science, and therefore properly termed ''Playbooks.'' Of the various experiments described a large number are original; and where selected they have generally been presented in a novel form. They have almost without exception been personally performed by the author, and every one is quite practicable if due care and a little patience is exercised.

Condition: Green boards have moderate shelf wear, in particular to the head and tail of the spine, bumped corners and some scuffing. Inside the previous owners name is inscribed on the pastedown and there is a small amount of crossed out lettering on the FFEP. Some tanning and foxing throughout the text and the spine is cracked in a number of places, otherwise the text is crisp and clean and the binding is tight.
