Epic Illustrated was touted as a new experience in adult fantasy and science fiction adventure. Published by Marvel Comics, this magazine was aimed at a more mature audience.
Issue #13 includes: "Weirdworld: Conjurations of Crystal" by Doug Moench, John Buscema, Marie Severin, and Steve Oliff; "In the Heart of the City" by Margaret Gallagher and James Romberger; "Rites of Spring" by Arthur Suydam; "Abraxas and the Earthman: Last Supper" by Rick Veitch; "Topaz" by Carl Potts; "Survival" by Pepe Moreno; and "Grail" by Archie Goodwin and Mike Saenz. Also includes "Bladerunner" article by Archie Goodwin (with art by Al Williamson and Carlos Garzon). August 1982.
This copy of the issue is in good condition. The cover has been buffeted slightly at the top of the spine, and there is some very slight discolouration around the spine. The pages, however, are clean and wear no signs of previous use.
