About this item

Colourful handmade luxury throw in a patchwork of grey and dark blue fabric with pink and orange flower pattern. It has a traditional kantha (running) stitch design throughout in colourful thread. The back is ecru with the underside kantha stitching showing in neat rows. Dry clean only. Matching items are available.

How this gift helps

Gopalas is a family run group based in Jaipur and specialises in traditional embroidery, patchwork and other Indian textiles. Its aim is to provide skills and training to people with no education, and promote Indian craftwork around the world. Noah’s Ark is a Fair Trade organisation in Moradabad, India. It was established in 1986 in response to the exploitation of poor artisans in this area. It has built up an infrastructure that now supports over 500 artisans.
