'Nize Baby' arose from the popular column by the American cartoonist Milt Gross. This collection was first published by George H. Doran in 1926.

Milt Gross (1895–1953) was an American cartoonist and animator whose work is noted for its exaggerated cartoon style and Yiddish-inflected English dialogue. In the mid 20's Milt Gross wrote a syndicated column called 'Gross Exaggerations', sprinkled with his cartoon illustrations. The popular column was collected into 'Nize Baby' in 1926.

Hardcover book in bright orange cloth with black title, etc., and comical illustration in a panel on front cover. In good condition with moderate wear. Shelf wear at the top and bottom of the spine. Edges and corners lightly bumped. Interior is clean and sound, illustrated with drawings by the author.
