Hardback, bound in faded red buckram (possibly Hunting Pink) with bevelled edges; titles, and image of hunting horn, in gilt on spine and front cover; [viii] 294 pp + 18 pp publisher's catalogue. Book condition: Acceptable, front hinge separated but casing intact, rear hinge weak but text block still firm; no d/j. A faint inscription in pencil on ffep and a label for W H Smith & Son's Subscription Library on front pastedown. A good reading copy of this rare volume by the author of "Poems in Pink" and "Plain Poems", and formerly Master and Huntsman of the Netton Harriers.
