About this item
Here we have a lovely looking plate.
The markings on the back of the plate say the following "This symbolic plate was produced to celebrate the historic union of Denmark's premier porcelain houses. It draws it's inspiration from the world's first Christmas plates 1895 and 1908".
Further markings have the Royal Copenhagen Denmark mark, a royal crown, and a Copenhagen Porcelain Bing & Grondahl logo.
This plate was produced in 1987 and is plate number 1 864 H.
The design has a glossy look to it and is Royal Blue in colour. It features the Baby Jesus and a dark sky line in the background.
The plate feels quite ridgy to the touch and is in very good condition.
