Specially prepared as a standard treatise on the subject for instructional and reference purposes in the Military Survey Service and also for the use of land surveyors.

Blue, clothbound book with white stars on the front cover and white title on the spine. Pages are yellowed with time. Binding is intact and there are no markings. The dust jacket is in good condition with chipping and a few tears along the top edge. Three errata slips opposite title page

A book of it's time which is full of formulae, diagrams, charts and photographs. How to work things out before the advent of computers.
