About Linda Worrall:
Born in the early 1950's, Linda Worrall has established herself as a home-grown British talent in the highly competitive international doll market. She gained a first class distinction in Graphic Design and Illustration from Bolton College of Art, and has recently put her skills to good use, designing original porcelain dolls. Some have even won prizes at the prestigious Global Doll Society Convention. Married with three children of her own, Ms Worrall knows only too well the importance of treasured family photos.
"When they are still tiny," she says, "babbles don't quite understand what's happening when mum and dad start snapping away. Their bewildered look often makes them all the more adorable. And that's an image I've tried to capture in my new work for the Aston-Drake Galleries."
