Vintage teddy bear made by Chad Valley; suitable for a collector. Yellow/brown colouring with plastic amber eyes. Body fur with material pads on paws and feet.

The bear shows signs of repair, seam at the back of the neck and loose stitches under the chin. The stitches are white but not visible unless looking closely at the underside of the neck. Also the fur is worn thin on the seams, and there are small bald patches in evidence on the back of the left leg, and towards the upper right of the back.

Small makers label on the left hand side, front side reads: "Chad Valley Chiltern Hygienic Toys, Made in England" back side reads "C. M. S. F." within a quartered background.

Small excess piece of black thread and further wear visible on the muzzle; but otherwise in reasonable condition for it's age. Bear is clean and not loosing any further fur or material; suitable for a collector.

Bear measures approx 15" (38cms) head to toe, and 12.5" (32cms) extended arm span.
