This is a fine example of 1960's home sewing, The piece includes a pencil dress that falls at knee length with a statement black top stitched yoke and belted section around the waist buttoning at the back. The jacket has an identical top stitched yoke, full length sleeves and collar and lapel, The main statement however is the buttons, which are a warmer yellow to the fabric and have an engraved circular design inset into the shape.Overall this piece is one of a kind, not only with it being homemade but due to the vibrant fabric and unique stitch detailing and buttons. Imagine turning up to the office in this, you would have no reason to have a bad day!
