Product description

Unusual leather jacket with tiger's head lining. In brown leather, the jacket has a shaped collar which is tooled with an abstract pattern. This tooled leather is also used on the upper areas of the sleeves. The jacket fastens at the front with 3 large press-studs. It is shaped from the armholes to narrow into the hips but it has 2 bulky pockets under the waistline which are ruched & panelled. The welt is shaped to rise at the front. Although the sleeves have an armhole seam, they are bat-wing in shape & have a ruched panel above the cuffs. These can be worn plain, turned back or rolled to show some of the lining. The distinctive lining has brown & black tiger's heads glowering against a background of silver-grey & black patterns & old maps.

An amazing coat which, in spite of its well-loved past, will give years of casual wear over jeans or trousers.
