CarFest is the brainchild of Chris Evans and brings together all his favourite things - the best cars in the world, great food and great music, for the whole family to enjoy. It takes place in 2 locations during August, with CarFest South at Laverstoke Park Farm in Hampshire over the bank holiday weekend. Carfest raises money for BBC Children in Need with a third of the ticket price plus all the profits going directly to them - in 2012 they received a staggering £968,735 from the events!
Whether you're a classic car enthusiast, a speed demon or just interested in seeing how they make the diggers dance, we are sure you will be enthralled by the motoring madness on offer. But if cars aren't your thing don't despair. With bands such as Ocean Colour Scene, Amy Macdonald, Scouting for girls and Jools Holland, we have no doubt you will be singing along. Other activities include the hard fought Cake vs Pie competition, the Britain's Best Pavilion housing fantastic local food and drink, air displays with classic planes, a big top with famous authors and
theatre, and of course plenty of other activities for the kids.
