The largest and most famous festival, there are simply not enough words to summarise the experience, so here are some numbers instead:
1M+: in 2011 we calculated there were over a million interactions between the public and people representing Oxfam!
3,225: the number of loos on-site in 2011. And it takes a team of 300 brave souls to keep them functioning
2000+: there will be more than 2000 wonderful stewards volunteering their time for Oxfam at Glastonbury in 2013, providing an essential part of the festival infrastructure and smiling all the way
350: the number of cows temporarily displaced at Worthy Farm - they are safely tucked away during the festival
60: the number of officially listed stages at the festival. Including speakers, poetry readings and more there were over 2,200 performances listed on the 2011 line-up
8.5: the perimeter of the site in miles. The festival is set across 900 acres of farmland, so it can take quite a while to get around
3: There is something for everyone at what is temporarily the "3rd biggest city in the South West" and finally
0: the number of legal marriages on site. It may be a popular choice, but unfortunately the festival is not a licensed venue so none of them actually count.
