About this festival

Leeds is known as Reading festival's little brother, but over the years it's grown into so much more than that. With an approximate capacity of 60,000 it is smaller, but the site makes up for that, with the same great music and big names performing in the beautiful rural setting of Bramham Park.

Oxfam have been stewarding at Leeds since 2002. You can expect the best names from across the rock, indie, metal, punk and alternative music scenes. There's comedy if you fancy a giggle and a funfair too, although as with Reading the focus is very definitely on the stages and the music. The audience is mainly young people under 30, but that doesn't stop music fans of all ages coming out to enjoy the variety Leeds has to offer. This year sees the introduction of new stages featuring more dance, grime and hip-hop and extra late night chill out areas in the woods.
