About this festival

Ok, so it's not a festival, but steward volunteers are continuing to help run Trailtrekker, Oxfam's challenge event in the Yorkshire Dales. Trailtrekker is a 100km sponsored trek for teams of four, over 30 hours (yes, that's day and night!) across the National Park. Around 300 teams take part in the event each year, all raising money to help people in poverty.

In 2013 Oxfam stewards are providing logistical support to challenge teams throughout the journey, as well as supporting the wider event. This means we will be more mobile and involved in logistics than in the past - facilitating the teams' journey by transporting luggage from one stop to the next, making sure other services are ready and waiting, that they get fed and watered etc. This role is going to involve some "wild camping" along the route and unusual hours, so we're looking for practical, adaptable and energetic stewards to take this on. If you're up for doing something completely different this might be the one for you.
