What makes a great team?

A shared goal:

The most important thing for any team is to have clear expectations of what finishing time they are aiming for right from the start. This helps you train at a sensible pace and during the event keeps all team members working together!

Training together:

Who gets a bit grumpy when they are tired? Who has an endless supply of jokes and good spirit? Who's likely to suffer from blisters? You'll only get the true answers by spending as much time together training as possible.

Understanding the challenge:

This event is an incredibly tough challenge, one that's going to take every ounce of your team spirit and personal determination to get through. Getting to know what to expect from checkpoints, the route and your kit is vital.

A good support crew

These guys will really hold your team together, it's hard to understand just how much you'll rely on them until you've taken part. The support crew experience is fantastic and having a slick operation through checkpoints will boost morale and save you time.
