Kit

680x150

Aubrey Wade

In order to ensure your comfort and safety on the challenge, there are certain items of kit that you are required to bring to the event.

Personal kit list

Team leaders will receive the full kit lists in the training guide after entering your team. However, to give you an idea, here is what we ask each participant to have:

  • Worn in walking boots or shoes
  • Water bottle
  • Whistle
  • Warm hat and gloves
  • Sunhat
  • Wicking base layer
  • Warm fleece
  • Head torch
  • Waterproof jacket and trousers
  • 2 sets of spare clothing
  • Spare socks

Some of these items will be carried by your Support Crew until you need them, but keep in mind that the weather in the South Downs can change quickly - you'll regret leaving your waterproofs in the car if there's an unexpected rainstorm!

We will be carrying out kit checks on event weekend - this is for the safety of you and your team.

Cotswold Outdoor offer

To help kit you out with the right gear, Cotswold Outdoor are offering participants and support crew 15% off* clothing and equipment.
