Oxfam has been trading in Stepney Street, Llanelli for over 30 years but Oxfam as an organisation has been operating since 1942. Since 1942 Oxfam's aim has been to eradicate poverty around the globe including in the UK. Here in Llanelli, we raise money by selling clothes, books, music, accessories and home wares. We could not do this if it was not for the generosity and support of our customers and volunteers.
If you share the same passion as Oxfam, you are always welcome to help out!

Oxfam shops are always delighted to accept donations of quality undamaged items that you no longer want. Our shop teams are trained to make as much money as possible from your generosity to fund Oxfam's poverty busting work around the world. Items that sell particularly well are current fashion trends, quality paperback fiction and all accessories. And Oxfam is unique in that any textiles that are not sold via our shops are sent to our Wastesaver recycling plant to ensure we make as much money as possible from your generosity.
Volunteering with us is a challenging and rewarding experience. We have lots of opportunities and are always on the look out for passionate people to lend a hand.
