Enough food for everyone IF

Meet IF. It might be one little word, but we're hoping it's going to make 2013 the beginning of the end of the global hunger crisis.

Right now, 1 in every 8 people live without enough to eat. More than 2 million children die every year from malnutrition and millions more face a life of stunting, pain and lost potential. Yet, this is completely preventable - our planet provides enough food for every single person. So what's gone wrong? And how can we fix things?

We believe there can be enough food for everyone...

  • IF we give enough aid to stop children dying from hunger and help the poorest families feed themselves
  • IF governments stop big companies dodging tax in poor countries, so that millions of people can free themselves from hunger
  • IF we stop poor farmers being forced off their land and we grow crops to feed people not fuel cars
  • IF governments and big companies are honest and open about their actions that stop people getting enough food.

That's why more than 100 UK organisations, including Oxfam, have come together in a year when the budget and the G8 give us the opportunities to speak to the world's most influential players.

IF needs you!
