Sing for Peace at Highclere Castle is a fundraising event for Oxfam's Syria crisis appeal

Lord and Lady Carnarvon were deeply moved by the plight of those affected by the Syria crisis, where over 11 million people have fled their homes after six years of conflict. They are raising money for the appeal by opening the doors to their stately home, Highclere Castle, for a special event on Sunday 10 December.

Situated in Hampshire, the 5,000-acre estate was the main filming location for the award-winning period drama, Downton Abbey. Visitors will have the opportunity to see the castle state Rooms and the exhibition as well as enjoy the beautifully designed landscaped gardens.

There are more details on the event here  or you can click here to buy tickets

Ticket prices: £25 per Adult/£10 per child - must be booked in advance.
